Candice is passionate about creating the future we want and helping people learn how to thrive in a complex, uncertain world. The Gamechanger community has been an inspiration to Candice to co-found Disco, a vc backed, “business in a box”, live platform for creators to run their learning empire.
Candice brings over 17+ years experience in disruptive tech, Candice was the Global GM of Wattpad (80MM user storytelling platform) that sold in Jan 21 for $660MM. She was the founder & Managing Partner of Faktory Ventures, an early stage seed fund, the cofounder of TorStar Digital (corporate innovation arm), and Strategy consultant at Deloitte Monitor.
Candice is also a founding partner of Elevate Tech festival, Board Member of Coveo, the leading AI platform for enterprises, and an Associate at the Creative Destruction Lab.
Candice loves bringing community together and is a frequent speaker on the future of learning and the mindset and mental models necessary to succeed in a chaotic, uncertain, exponential future.
Corey Marr, Chief Creative Officer
Corey’s passion for telling great stories has enabled him to work with some of the world’s leading brands and create award-winning content that has been seen all over the world.
He is the Executive Producer behind Gamechanger Sessions and is grateful for our growing community. His most recent production is the feature film DEATH OF A LADIES’ MAN stars Gabriel Byrne and set to some of Leonard Cohen's most beloved music. He also produced PASSENGER SIDE which was named to "Canada's Top Ten" by TIFF and WHO LOVES THE SUN. Corey is a frequent producer for Nike and has produced cross-platform content that has been viewed by millions.
Corey is a partner of Canadaland Media, Canada’s leading podcast platform that includes the hit series Thunder Bay.
He can be found cooking, playing music, and enjoying his two growing boys and one energetic puppy.
